About the Role

This is not a traditional training role.

We're looking for a hands-on sales coach who knows that the best way to improve sales performance is through practice, feedback, repetition, and real conversations.

As our Senior Sales Coach & Trainer | Setter Program Lead, you will own MEDLIFE's 90-day Setter Training Program, directly coach and manage our Setters, and support the development of our wider sales organization.

You'll listen to real sales calls, identify opportunities for improvement, run role-plays, provide actionable feedback, and coach salespeople until new skills become consistent behaviors.

What You'll Do:

Own and continuously improve MEDLIFE's 90-day Setter Training Program.
Assess new Setters and create individual development plans.
Lead training sessions, skill drills, role-plays, and practical sales exercises.
Directly manage and coach Setters through daily priorities, weekly 1:1s, and ongoing performance coaching.
Review real sales calls using Gong, Avoma, or similar platforms.
Identify recurring objections, communication gaps, and successful sales behaviors.
Turn successful sales behaviors into practical scripts, lessons, role-plays, and coaching rubrics.
Coach, practice, and retest until salespeople can consistently demonstrate the required skills.
Train and coach the wider sales organization across New Business, College Portfolio, and High-School Portfolio teams.
Partner with Sales Management and Sales Operations to improve training standards and sales processes.
Help sales leaders become stronger coaches by calibrating scoring standards and coaching methodologies.
Run a weekly practice cadence including team sessions, Setter clinics, and short weekday skill drills.
Track coaching coverage, feedback turnaround, retesting, skill adoption, and commercial outcomes.
Connect coaching efforts to metrics such as qualified meetings, accepted handoffs, and deposit conversion.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, frontline sales coaching, or sales leadership.
Strong hands-on experience training and coaching salespeople.
Experience working with LATAM-based sales teams selling to customers in the U.S. and/or Canada.
Proven ability to improve sales performance through coaching and practice.
Fluent/native-level English, both written and spoken.
Comfortable conducting training, role-plays, coaching sessions, and giving detailed feedback entirely in English.
Strong understanding of sales conversations, objection handling, qualification, follow-up, and closing.
Experience using HubSpot or another CRM and understanding sales pipelines, stages, follow-ups, and handoffs.
Familiarity with Gong, Avoma, or similar conversation intelligence/call-coaching platforms.
Strong remote facilitation and communication skills.
Comfortable using data and performance metrics to identify coaching opportunities.
A strong practice-first mindset: you're comfortable practicing the same conversation multiple times until the skill sticks.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Education, Communications, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

Experience training LATAM-based salespeople selling service-based products to U.S. or Canadian customers.
Experience in education, travel, healthcare, professional services, or other considered/service-based purchases.
Experience developing Sales Leaders or Team Leads as coaches.
Experience building or improving sales training programs from the ground up.
