MEDLIFE

Lifecycle & CRM Marketing Coordinator

Remote•Peru•Full-time
About the Job
About MEDLIFE:
MEDLIFE is a non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development projects. Our mission is to build a worldwide Movement empowering the poor in their fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home. Our vision is a world free from the constraints of poverty.

MEDLIFE works with students from around the world to broaden their perspectives and better equip them to advocate for social justice.

About the Role:
The Lifecycle & CRM Marketing Coordinator will build and own MEDLIFE's lifecycle marketing engine: the system that deepens every participant's journey with MEDLIFE over time, turning first-time travelers into repeat travelers, chapter leaders, and lifelong alumni advocates, mentors, and donors.

This is a data-driven growth role, not a general brand or social media role. You will own the customer journey after the first point of conversion: map the full participant lifecycle, build segmented nurture and reactivation journeys in HubSpot and related systems, and partner closely with RevOps, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and our Storytelling team to grow engagement, repeat participation, and lifetime value (LTV).

This is an individual contributor position with end-to-end ownership of lifecycle outcomes. As the function grows, the role has a clear path to a Lead position with a team of its own.

Reports To: Head of Marketing.

Works With: Sales, Marketing, Data Solutions, RevOps, and other areas as needed, plus external partners such as CRM platform vendors (e.g., HubSpot) and marketing, creative, or analytics agencies.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the lifecycle strategy: map the full MEDLIFE customer journey from first contact through participation, chapter involvement, travel, leadership, graduation, alumni status, and advocacy.
  • Build nurture and retention journeys: create segmented, automated and human-assisted journeys in HubSpot based on behavior, lifecycle stage, program history, and inactivity.
  • Drive repeat participation: increase repurchase through campaigns built around seasonality, graduation cycles, and prior program history.
  • Own LTV growth in partnership with RevOps/Data, identifying which journeys and behaviors create the greatest downstream value.
  • Build reactivation systems for dormant leads, inactive members, former travelers, and alumni, defining windows, offers, and success criteria.
  • Connect high school and college: build a deliberate high school → college continuity strategy that links participants to MEDLIFE chapters.
  • Bring proof into campaigns: integrate current, credible stories and results in partnership with the Storytelling team, chapter teams, alumni, and field teams.
  • Run multichannel campaigns (email, SMS/WhatsApp, myMEDLIFE, HubSpot workflows, social retargeting) focused on relevant next actions, not message volume.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on warm re-engagement, repeat-business opportunities, and clear handoffs between automated nurture and human outreach.
  • Test and learn: track cohort behavior, conversion, repurchase timing, reactivation, LTV, and revenue influenced, and continuously improve messaging and segmentation.

What We're Looking For:
Requirements:
  • Experience: minimum 5 years of direct experience in lifecycle marketing, retention, CRM, customer marketing, or LTV growth; 7–10+ years preferred. Demonstrated experience marketing to U.S. and/or Canadian consumers is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
  • Language: advanced / professional working proficiency in English.
  • Tools: hands-on HubSpot experience (strongly preferred), plus working knowledge of at least one other lifecycle/CRM platform: Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or Customer.io. Comfortable working with reporting/BI tools alongside RevOps and Data teams.
  • Proven ownership of retention, repurchase, reactivation, lifecycle automation, or LTV outcomes, not just brand or acquisition campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience building segmented, multi-stage lifecycle/CRM journeys in HubSpot or an equivalent platform.
  • Strong segmentation, experimentation, cohort analysis, and funnel-measurement skills.
  • Proven ability to turn RevOps/Data outputs into targeted, automated campaigns.
  • Excellent copy judgment: able to write persuasive, natural customer-facing copy for North American audiences.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, building the system while operating it.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in education, travel, membership/community, youth/student organizations, experiential learning, nonprofits, or other high-consideration consumer journeys.
  • Experience with products where the next purchase may occur months or years later.
  • Experience building cross-stage journeys (e.g., student → alumni, customer → advocate, member → leader).
  • Experience designing referral/advocacy programs.
  • Experience with WhatsApp/SMS and multichannel CRM.
  • Experience working across North America and LATAM teams.

Competencies:
  • Achievement orientation: sets and pursues ambitious, measurable growth targets.
  • Analytical thinking: breaks down cohort and funnel data to find root causes and opportunities.
  • Initiative: builds systems proactively rather than waiting for complete data or direction.
  • Cross-functional influence: aligns Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Product around shared lifecycle journeys without formal authority.
  • Strategic thinking: connects individual campaigns to long-term LTV and organizational goals.
  • Resilience: sustains momentum and quality through ambiguity, incomplete data, and iterative testing.
